General

WARNING! The user must only carry out the
!
maintenance and service work described in
this Operator's Manual. More extensive work
must be carried out by an authorized service
workshop.
All operations described in this section must
be performed with the tool dismounted from
the machine and positioned on the ground.
Use personal protective equipment as well
as equipment to mechanically secure
machine components during maintenance
and service.
The life span of the machine can be reduced
and the risk of accidents can increase if
machine maintenance is not carried out
correctly and if service and/or repairs are
not carried out professionally. If you need
further information please contact your
nearest service workshop.
Let your Husqvarna dealer regularly check the machine
and make essential adjustments and repairs.
DCR 300
CAUTION! Before performing any type of
!
service, the residual hydraulic pressure has
to be discharged.
Open the jaws to the maximum to retract the hydraulic
cylinders completely.
Remove the screw to discharge the residual hydraulic
pressure.

Maintenance schedule

In the maintenance schedule you can see which parts of your
machine that require maintenance, and with which intervals it
should take place. The intervals are calculated based on daily
use of the machine, and may differ depending on the rate of
usage.

Cleaning
Clean with a rag or brush.
The tool can be cleaned more thoroughly by washing it
with water and detergent.
General inspection
Check the tool for damage and wear.
Check that all couplings, connections and hydraulic hoses
are in full working order. Replace if necessary.
Check the tightening of the bolts that fix the shear blades
with a dynamometric wrench.
Cutters for reinforcing bar
When worn on one side the cutters can be rotated 180° for
a new sharp edge. When worn on both sides, the cutter
can be replaced. Always use genuine parts.
Check the cutters. Never use cutters that are cracked or
damaged.
NOTICE! Damaged cutters can cause damage to the tool.

Lubrication
The greasing points are indicated with a red circle. Replace
damaged nipples.
