To change the AM tuning interval
The AM tuning interval is factory-preset
to 9 kHz or 10 kHz (for some areas: this
function is not available on the European
model).
Use buttons on the unit to change the
AM tuning interval.

Tune in any AM station, and then
turn off the system.

Press DISPLAY to display the clock.

While holding down , press /.
All the AM preset stations are erased.
To reset the interval to the factory
preset, repeat the procedure.
To improve disc loading performance
Turn on the CD player/USB device
power using the CD/USB power
management function. By default, the
CD player/USB device power is turned
off.
Use buttons on the unit to turn on the
CD player/USB device power.

Press FUNCTION +/ repeatedly to
select the CD function.

Press / to turn off the system.

After "STANDBY" stops flashing, press
DISPLAY to display the clock and
then press / while holding down
.
"CD/USB PWR ON" appears. Turning
the CD player/USB device power
on, decreases disc access time and
improves loading performance.
If there is poor tuner reception when
the CD player/USB device power
is turned on, return the setting to
default.
To turn off the CD player/USB device
power, repeat the procedure until
"CD/USB PWR OFF" appears.
Note that when the tuner function
is selected when turning off the CD
player/USB device power, power is

not supplied to the USB device, and
the device is therefore not recognized
and not charged by the system, even if
connected.
To reset the system to factory settings
If the system still does not operate
properly, reset the system to factory
settings.
Use buttons on the unit to reset the unit
to its factory default settings.

Disconnect and reconnect the power
cord, and then turn on the system.

Hold down  and ENTER, and press
/.
All user-configured settings, such as
preset radio stations, timer, and the
clock, are deleted.
