  • Page 2 Preparation Connect your USB drive to a PC and make sure to format the USB drive to FAT32 format. Right click on the USB Drive and select ‘Format…’ Make sure FAT32 is selected as File system and press Start. After the format is complete, save the LoopSign APK file to the USB Drive and insert it into the CDExx20 series panel.
  • Page 3 Configuring the settings and installing the app To allow the display to install third-party apps, the ‘Unknown Sources’ setting must be enabled. In the Home screen, go to ‘Settings’. Go to the ‘Device’ menu and select ‘Signage Display’.
  • Page 4 In the Signage Display menu, enable the ‘Unknown Sources’ option by ticking the box. After enabling ‘Unknown sources’, press the [Home] button on the remote control to go back to the Home menu.
  • Page 5 Navigate to ‘Folders’ and find the USB Drive on the left hand side. Select the LoopSign APK file to open it and press Install, the app starts after installation.
  • Page 6 Configuring the App as default start-up source To configure the app to be the start-up source, navigate back to ‘Settings’ from the Home screen and go to ‘Device’ > ‘Signage Display’.
  • Page 8 Go to ‘Custom App’ in ‘Source setting’, select the LoopSign app and press Save.
  • Page 9 Press the [MENU] button on the remote control and navigate to ‘Advanced’ > ‘Boot on source’. Go to ‘Input’ and select ‘Custom’. Done! Next time when the device is booted up, the app will automatically be started.
  • Page 10 LoopSign App Configuration To access the App settings after initial configuration you need to connect a mouse to the panel. Then click the upper left corner on the screen. It will then ask for a PIN code. Default PIN code is 0000. Then the app will open the settings page again.
