7-11 AV insertion (Only DM-MV300i)
In the AV insertion mode, the unit overrides the ITI (Insert and Track Information) areas with the audio, video, and sub codes.

Tapes for AV insertion
Only SP recording is possible on tapes to be used for inserting. With all other tapes the unit stops.
When LP mode or no-recording is detected, the unit stops (warning indication).

AV inserting operation
1 In the VCR mode, playback-pause the tape at a point from where AV inserting is to begin, then press the AV insert button on the
remote controller.
The unit enters the AV insertion mode (AV insertion pause), and the (G ) symbol (AV insertion paused) is being indicated on the
LCD panel (CVF).
2 Press the Pause [ ] button to insert picture and sound.
AV insertion starts.
(AV insertion) appears on the LCD panel (CVF).
3 Press the Stop [I] button where you want to stop.
The AV insertion mode is canceled, the AV insertion indication disappears from the display, and the unit stops.
By pressing the Pause [ ] button instead of the Stop [I] button, the AV insertion mode is not canceled, but instead returns to step
1 (AV insertion pause).
Another way to cancel the AV insertion mode is to press the AV insert button on the remote controller while in the AV insertion
pause mode.
In order to set in advance the AV insertion mode to stop at a certain point of the tape, press the Zero Set Memory button on the
remote controller at the desired point, then after having performed operation in step 2 the unit will automatically stop when it
reaches the point, and the AV insertion mode will be canceled.

CGMS
AV insertion is only possible with copy-unrestricted material (CGMS=00)
The unit will stop when it detects a signal other than CGMS=00.
