CHAPTER 1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT
7-4 Battery status (Remaining battery, Warning indications, shut off by insufficient power)
Battery status
When using the unit on a battery, the battery status is indicated in five steps, i.e. 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and 0% (approximate
values) until the insufficient-power warning appears, then is reset by switching the power off. When the unit is off and on again,
the battery regains its power (the battery status indication shows higher) sometimes. However, once the battery low warning
appears, the Low battery warning is displayed even when the power is regained by turning the unit off and on.
The battery status indication is off when using the unit on the AC power adapter. However, when the power level decreases,
because of some malfunction (dropping below the battery low level), the battery low warning will go on. Then, should the power
increase above the battery low level, the battery low warning will disappear.
Battery low warning appears when the voltage across the battery connectors falls below approx. 6.3V (when using with this product)
