CONNECTING THE E10039 TO A PC
9. For this step, you will need a Cross-over Ethernet cable to connect your PC to the E10039. A Cross-over cable is not,
the same as the Patch cable that came with the E10039 Ether-Mon key.

You may purchase pre-made Cross-over cables at an office supply or electronics stores.
When configuring drivers and software, need to hook the E10039 NPort Express directly to your computer's Ethernet
card. To do this, you will need to use a cross-over Ethernet cable.
This type of Ethernet cable is harder to find, although you can make your own cable by referring to the following cable
wiring diagram.
