Cut a platform to the dimensions indicated in the
figure using a 38 mm thick, flat stock material such as
wood, plywood or particle board.

WARNING:
Be sure to use flat stock as a
platform. Stock that is not flat may move during the
cutting operation which may result in kickback and
serious personal injury.
NOTE: The maximum cutting capacity in height will
be reduced by the same amount as the platform
thickness.

Place the platform on the tool so that it extends
equally over each side of the tool base.
Secure the platform to the tool using four 6 mm wood
screws through four holes in the lower fences.

Make sure that the platform is laying
flat against the tool base and secured firmly to the lower
fences using the four screw holes provided. Failure to
properly secure the platform may result in movement and
possible kickback resulting in serious personal injury.

mounted to a stable and flat surface. Failure to prop-
erly mount and secure the tool could cause the tool to
be unstable resulting in a loss of control and/or the tool
falling which may result in serious personal injury.
