PRIVACY
While Off-Hook
1.
Press the Do Not Disturb key. LED lights.
2.
Privacy feature prevents interruptions for the
duration of the call.
3.
Replace
a
handset.

To Cancel
1.
Press the Do Not Disturb key. LED goes out.
■The Do Not Disturb key must be programmed by the
Telephony Server administrator on the Programmable
feature key or soft key.
■"DND" is displayed as the soft key of Do Not Disturb
feature.
PRIVACY RELEASE
Example:
Station B is engaged in a conversation, and allows Station A to
enter the call in progress.
1.
Station A lifts the handset or presses the Speaker
key.
Station A presses the line appearance of Station
B. Warning tone is sent to the interrupted parties
(optional).A three-way conference is established.
Station A may also be a single-line station as long as it
appears on the Station B.
Example:
Station A requests entrance into Station B's call in progress.
1.
Station A lifts the handset or presses the Speaker
key.
2.
Station A presses the line appearance of Station
B.
3.
Station B LCD indicates as" P-RLS?".
4.
Station B may allow Station A to enter the
conversation by pressing the Privacy Release
key.
5.
A warning tone is sent to the interrupted parties
(optional).
6.
A three-way conference is established.
Privacy
feature
– OR –
■Station A can be a single-line station if it appears on the
Station B.
■Up to six parties can break into a two-party conversation
(additional device is required).
■The Privacy Release key must be programmed by the
Telephony Server administrator on the Programmable
feature key or soft key.
■"P-RLS" is displayed as the soft key of Privacy Release
feature.
