Follow these steps to connect an AC input power supply to the Cisco 1004 chassis:
Insert an AC power supply in power supply slot 0 or power supply slot 1 until it is fully seated.
Step 1
Tighten the captive screws.
Step 2
Insert the AC power cable into the power inlet.

Plug the power supply cable into the power source.
