Components
Refer to the following figures and descriptions to
become familiar with the basic controls and com-
ponents of this machine. Understanding these
items and how they work will help you understand
the rest of the manual and minimize your risk of
injury when operating this machine.

Figure 1. Adjustable components.
A. Eye Shield: Protects against sparks during
operations. This shield is not a substitute for
personal protective equipment.
B. Eye Shield Lock Knob: Loosens to adjust
eye shield position and tightens to secure.
Note: The Model T32252 has an additional
lock knob on each eye shield for further
adjustment.
C. LED Worklight: Illuminates grinding area for
better visibility. Turns ON when machine is
turned ON.
D. Work Rest Lock Knob: Loosens to adjust
work rest position and tightens to secure.
E. Work Rest: Provides flat surface to rest
workpiece on during operations.

ON/OFF Switch w/Disabling Key: Turns
motor ON when moved up; turns motor OFF
when moved down. When key is removed,
switch is disabled and machine cannot start.
G. Digital Readout: Displays spindle RPM.
H. Variable-Speed Dial: Rotates clockwise
to increase grinding speed; rotates coun-
terclockwise to decrease grinding speed.
Variable-speed dial must be turned fully
counterclockwise for motor to start.

Wheel Guard: Prevents accidental contact
with grinding wheel and contains particulates
and sparks produced while grinding.
