Playback of disc

Basic play

Preparation
MAIN UNIT
÷ Press the
(POWER) key to turn on the pow er.
÷ After the pow er is sw itched ON the STAND BY indicator
w ill go off.

Load a disc.

Open the tray.

Place a disc.

Start playback.

÷ When the 6 ( PLAY/ PAUSE ) key or 0 ( OPEN/ CLOSE )
key is pressed w hile a tray is open, the tray closes automati-
cally, and then playback begins.
When a Disc M enu appears on the screen
In case of int eract ive DVDs, a Disc M enu appears on t he

screen. Then press ENTER key to select specific menu you
w ant to play by using Cursor keys.

÷ Each press pauses and plays the disc alternately.
When a menu screen is recorded on the DVD disc,
the menu screen w ill be displayed w hen the TOP
M ENU/ P.B.C. key or M ENU key is pressed. At the
menu screen, the menu can be selected by pressing
the Cursor keys.
RESUM E playback (only DVD)
When the 7 (STOP) key has been pressed once dur-
ing playback to stop the playback, and then playback
is started again, play w ill start from the point w here
the playback had been stopped. This is called the RE-
SUM E function. When the 7 (STOP) key is pressed
again during stop, the RESUM E function is cancelled.
