Change Passw ord
1 During stop mode, press SET UP key on the re-
mote.
2 Press Cursor up/ dow n (5/ ∞) keys on the re-
mote to select the RATINGS SETUP, then press
the ENTER key to access the sub features
3 Press Cursor up/ dow n (5/ ∞) keys on the remote
to select PASSWORD, then press the Cursor
right (3) key to access the sub features
4 press the ENTER key to select CHANGE.
5 Enter old passw ord, new passw ord and enter
new passw ord again to confirm, then press the
ENTER key. (The passw ord set at the time of ship-
ping from the factory is "0000".)
6 Press Cursor left (2) key on the remote to return
to previous menu.
7 Press Cursor up/ dow n (5/ ∞) keys on the remote
to select M AIN PAGE, then press the ENTER key.
8 Press Cursor up/ dow n (5/ ∞) keys on the remote
to select EXIT SETUP, then press the ENTER key.

This part of DVD rating lets you determine how your
player w ill react discs that contain movies that are rated
(in t he U .S.A. t he M ot ion Pict ures Associat ion of
America rates movies as G, PG, PG-13, etc.).
Select RATING level
1 During stop mode, press SET UP key on the re-
mote.
2 Press Cursor up/ dow n (5/ ∞) keys on the re-
mote to select the RATINGS SETUP, then press
the ENTER key to access the sub features
3 Press Cursor up/ dow n (5/ ∞) keys on the remote
to select RATING, then press the Cursor right
(3) key to access the sub features
4 Press Cursor up/ dow n (5/ ∞) keys on the remote
to select specific level, then press the ENTER
key.
5 Enter the passw ord, then press the ENTER key.
The passw ord set at the time of shipping from the
factory is "0000".
Refer to the item "Change Passw ord" w hen the
passw ord is to be changed.
6 Press Cursor left (2) key on the remote to return
to previous menu.
7 Press Cursor up/ dow n (5/ ∞) keys on the remote
to select M AIN PAGE, then press the ENTER key.
8 Press Cursor up/ dow n (5/ ∞) keys on the remote
to select EXIT SETUP, then press the ENTER key.
