Intended use
The Makita Diamond Dry Core Drill DBM 080 / DBM 130 is designed for the drilling of brick, lime sand
brick, cellular concrete, and others in combination with a Diamond Dry Drilling System with dust
aspiration (use an appropriate Wet Core Drill for concrete and stone).
The user is liable for any damages due to a not intended use of the device.
Generally accepted accident prevention regulations and included safety guidelines have to be
observed.
Power supply
Before starting the machine, compare the supply voltage and frequency with the data stated on the
type plate. A voltage difference of +6% / -10% is permitted.
Do only use an extension cable with sufficient cross section (at least 2.5 mm
too small may lead to excessive loss of power and overheating of the motor and the cable.
Work with concentration and care.
Keep your workplace clean and avoid hazardous situations.
Precautions shall be taken to protect operators.
