5.3 Replacing Module
5.3.1 Procedure
The procedure for replacing the SYS SW module is as follows.
Start of replacement
Turn off the external power supply
connected to the self-system unit.
Turn off the power supply of
the self-system unit.
Remove the TB of the SYS SW
module.
Write down the current setting of
the PRIORITY switch on a piece of
paper.
Replace the SYS SW module.
Install the TB of the SYS SW
module.
Set the PRIORITY switch in the
same position as you wrote down
previously in this procedure.
Turn on the power supply of
the self-system unit.
Turn on the external power supply
connected to the self-system unit.
End of replacement
(Note) At this time, the power supply of the
other system is ON. Do not touch the
exposed metallic portions (terminal
screw and contact portions).
When this procedure is performed to its end,
care must be taken because switching will
automatically occur from the running system to
the standby system. For more information,
see "4.1.1 SYS SW module operations" and
"4.1.2 Startup procedure."
