Corrective Procedures
Clean magnetic head and tape path according to
procedures in "Preventive Maintenance:' Iffault
condition still occurs, replace with tape of known
good quality.

it and any other fault codes to Honeywell accor-
ding to terms of your service agreement.

Ensure that front door is securely closed.
Thread tape.
Check that supply reel hub is latched, BOT marker
is located correctly, or correct tension fault which
occurred during load operation.
Refer to Figure 3-3 to ensure that tape is threaded
correctly.
Check that BOT marker is positioned correctly (see
Figure 4-4). If fault condition still occurs, replace
with tape of known good quality.
RESET button was pressed inadvertently by oper-
ator. Reinitiate test.
Check for presence of write-enable ring in rear of
supply reel. Install ring if one is not present.
Check for presence of EOT marker. If fault condi-
tion still occurs, replace with tape of known good
quality.
Tape was loaded when the test was initiated.
Thread tape, but do not press LOAD button.
Mount tape of known good quality.
Mount tape of known good quality.
