Step 4 Connect the ground cable for the ESD wrist strap, and put on the ESD wrist strap and ESD
gloves.
Step 5 Unscrew and remove the SMU06C.
Step 6 Connect one end of the signal cable for the smoke sensor to the smoke sensor and the other
end to the SMOKE port on the SMU06C, as shown in

Step 7 Disconnect the ground cable from the ESD wrist strap, and take off the ESD wrist strap and
ESD gloves.

6.3 (Optional) Installing a Water Sensor

Prerequisites
You have obtained an ESD wrist strap and a pair of ESD gloves.
Procedure
Step 1 Secure the water sensor, as shown in

The SMOKE silkscreen is on the plastic cover in the SMU06C.
