Authentication:

Open Authentication - the DWL-122 is visible to all devices on the

network

Shared Authentication - allows communication only with devices with

identical WEP settings

Auto - will automatically adjust to the Authentication mode of the

wireless Access Point or Router

World Mode:

select Active Scanning to continuously rescan and associate

with the Access Point or Router with the strongest signal in the SSID. (Not

available for adapters sold in the USA.)
