H Immersion heater (accessory)
If the storage tank is not filled with potable water and
an immersion heater is connected, it can be damaged
(due to superheating and a short circuit).
▶ Only connect an immersion heater when the
storage tank is filled with potable water.
H Handover to the user
When handing over the thermal solar system, explain
the operation and operating conditions to the user.
▶ Explain operation – with particular emphasis on all
safety-related actions.
▶ If an immersion heater is used, advise the user on
energy-saving operation.
▶ Point out that conversion or repair may be carried
out only by a licensed contractor.
▶ Also point out the need for inspection and
preventative maintenance for safe and
environmentally friendly operation.
▶ Hand over the installation and operating
instructions to the user for safekeeping.

2 Product Information
The heat transfer medium circulating through different densities heats
the potable water in the storage tank.
The thermosiphon systems differ in the following:
• Number of collectors
• Size of the storage tanks
• Installation system
