The model MEX-1HD is Sony's first car AM/FM/CD Receiver with a built-in hard drive music storage unit. Since
this model has many new functions and features, knowing what the product is capable of is important to fixing it.

How to initiate playback and/or recording.
Functions "Move Out" and "Import" do not currently operate because they require new industry support.

This MEX-1HD car stereo can produce sound from various sources. Use Figure 4-1 to ID all seven sources and
refer to Figure 4-2 to locate the buttons / knobs to select the playback source.

Radio stations are held in memory as long as there is battery power input.
10 GB storage holds approx. 165 hours of music. Store rate selectable.
The Move Out / In and Import functions in the menu are not supported
industry wide at this time and therefore currently do not work.
