Control function

The motor starter controls the direction of rotation of motors with the control function. Internal
logic prevents you from activating both directions of rotation simultaneously.
The graphic below shows the reaction times of the motor starter to control commands. The
reaction times when restarting and changing direction of rotation are identical.

The execution times t until a device-internal control command is active are different depending

3DI/LC module: 10 ms debounce time => t

5 ms jitter.
ON commands within the interlock time are delayed.
ON commands within the interlock time are suppressed.
Minimum OFF-delay time
Fail-safe motor starter: Minimum 40 ms

HF motor starter: 20 ms
•
Maximum OFF-delay time
Fail-safe motor starters: Maximum 55 ms
•
HF motor starter: Maximum 35 ms
