Except the four default 1 Gbit/s service network ports, each CNEN can provide up to extra
eight 1 Gbit/s service network optical ports by adding one or two 1 Gbit/s optical port
adapters. Figure 6-24 shows the slots and network for a CNEN to add one 1 Gbit/s optical
port adapter.
