Viewing digital text service
– MHEG
Many digital TV channels broadcast
information via their text service. This
digital service includes high quality digital
text and graphics along with advanced
navigation options.
MHEG can only be activated if no
subtitles are shown on the screen.
Before you start...
Ensure the subtitle option is turned off.
A
Press LIVE TV repeatedly until 'DXXX'
appears at the top of the screen.
B
Press TEXT or the Red button on the
remote control.
C
Once the text information is displayed,
you can use the
coded buttons, and/ or the
alphanumeric keypad 0-9 on the
remote control to access the required
information.
The appearance, content and
navigation methods of all digital text
services are determined by the
broadcaster.
D
Press TEXT again to exit.
Helpful Hint:
– Not all TV channels transmit interactive
television applications at all times.
