    Chassis Unused Slots Restrictions If you are installing one or more of the Cisco Services Modules in your chassis that are listed in Table the slots directly adjacent to the services module (above and below or to the left and to the right) must contain either line cards or switching-module filler plates (Cisco part numbers WS-X6K-SLOT-CVR-E or SLOTBLANK-09).
