・ When a straight buttonhole program (parameter No. 11, eyelet pattern: 5) is
selected, the sub hammer will be enabled. However, its operation will vary
depending on the settings for memory switch Nos. 567 - 571.

If there is no material underneath the buttonhole sensor when the cloth is set, the
assigned program number is retrieved instead of the program number that is
currently displayed and the sub hammer is enabled.

Sub hammer is always enabled regardless of buttonhole sensor status and eyelet

Error (E942) is generated in the following cases.
・ When there is material underneath the buttonhole sensor and an attempt is
made to sew a straight buttonhole program
・ When there is no material underneath the buttonhole sensor and an attempt is
made to sew an eyelet buttonhole program
When a larger value is set, the period of contact between the sub hammer and the
knife becomes longer. It can be set in units of 5 ms.
[NOTE]
If the ON time is set to a longer time than is necessary, it will shorten the operating
life of the knife and sub hammer.

If an attempt is made to sew when there is no material underneath the buttonhole
sensor, knife operation will be disabled even if the cutting position has been set to
"cutting before sewing" or "cutting after sewing" using the operation panel.
