Mounting
5.1
VdS guidelines
- Only use trip wire contacts for monitoring openings where they cannot be reached by
hand.
- Mount the contact, guide roller and end attachment on a solid surface.
- The

- Class A: 150 mm,
- Class B and C: 100 mm
- Contacts, guide rollers and end attachment should not be visible from outside the
security zone. Trip wire contacts should be connected so that an internal alarm is triggert
if the wire is damaged or destroyed.
5.2
Version
The steel wire is stretched across the opening that requires monitoring via the guide roller,
turnbuckle and suspension hook. The cable must be long enough to ensure that the contact is
closed when in no-load status. The magnet is then positioned approximately in the middle of both
stops. (See illustration "Setup").
