How to Charge (Level 2)

When charging is completed
Press the release button on the charge
connector to release it from the inlet.

Make sure to close the inlet cover before
you close the charge lid.
The charge indicator goes off once charging is
completed.
1. Stop your vehicle at a station specific for
electric vehicles. Park with the charge lid
closest to the charge plug, just in front of
the driver's door.

4. Press and hold the charge lid release
button.

If a blackout or other electrical interruption occurs
during vehicle charging, the vehicle will automatically
resume charging once power is restored.
If you cannot start charging even if the charge
connector is plugged into the inlet, check the
following:
If the charging timer has been set.
If you have remotely canceled charging, using the
interactive remote control.
To avoid damage to the charger, take these
precautions:
Do not hit the charge connector components with
a hard object or drop them on the ground.
Do not pull, twist, tangle, drag or step on the
charging cable.
Do not use or store near any sources of heat.
Do not expose to liquids or use harsh chemicals to
clean.
If you unplug the charge connector from the inlet,
charging cancels automatically.
When you plug in or unplug the charge connector
into or from the inlet, the navigation system comes
on, performs a system checkup, and goes into
standby mode. It automatically shuts off after a
while. If you want to operate the system while it is in
standby mode, turn the power switch to ACCESSORY
