Falling asleep to
music
— Sleep Timer
You can let the system turn off at a preset
time, so you can sleep to the music. You can
preset the time to be turned off by 10
minutes.
Make sure you have set the clock (see page 9).
SLEEP
Press SLEEP.
Each time you press the button, the minute
display (the turn-off time) changes as follows:
90min n 80min n 70min... n 10min
n OFF
To check the remaining time
Press SLEEP once.
To change the time to turn off
Select the time you want by pressing SLEEP.
To cancel the Sleep Timer
operation
Press SLEEP repeatedly until "OFF" appears.

Waking up to music

— Wake-up Timer
You can wake up to music at a preset time.
Make sure you have set the clock (see page 9).

Prepare the sound source you want
to play.
• CD: Place a CD. To start from a
specific track, make a program (see
page 29).
• MD (DHC-MD77/EX77MD/
EX770MD only): Insert an MD.
• Tape (MHC-EX66/EX660, the optional
TC-TX77/TX770 deck only): Insert a
tape.
• Radio: Tune in a station (see page 24).

Press TIMER SET.
"Select timer" appears.

Press DAILY (for the same time
every day).
The indicator lights up and the hour
indication flashes.
