1) When the salt and/or rinse aid containers are empty, the related indicator lights do not come on while a
washing programme operates.
Programme buttons
Press one of these buttons to set a washing programme. The related indicator comes on.
Set the correct washing programme according to the type of load and soil (refer to 'Wash-
ing programmes').
Multitab button
Press this button to activate/deactivate the multitab function. Refer to 'Multitab function'.
Delay start button
Use this button to delay the start of the washing programme with an interval of 3, 6 or 9
hours. Refer to 'Select and start a washing programme'.
Function buttons
Use the function buttons for these operations:

It comes on when it is necessary to fill the salt container. Refer to 'Use of dish-
washer salt'.
After you fill the container, the salt indicator light can stay on for some hours.
This does not have an unwanted effect on the operation of the appliance.
It comes on when it is necessary to fill the rinse aid container. Refer to 'Use of
detergent and rinse aid'.
It comes on when:
• The washing programme is completed.
• You adjust the level of the water softener.
• You activate/deactivate the rinse aid dispenser.
• There is a malfunction of the appliance.
