The operations for each setting when a communication error occurs are described below.
1) I/O operation : halt
- System register No. 28: 0 (Halt operation)
Note) System register No. 27: 0 or 1, Undefined

[Operation]
- All I/O operation: Halt
- "COMM. LED(COM. LED)" on the normal master station and slave station: Flashing (at normal speed,
0.2-second cycle)
- Output state of all slave stations: OFF
[Step to take]
Turn off the power supply to the master station. Replace the faulty unit with a normal unit and power up
again.
2) I/O operation : Continue
- System register No. 28: 1 (Continue operation)
- Mode selector switch SW1/7: OFF (Halt operation)
Note) System register No. 27: 0 or 1, Undefined
When teh system register No. 27 is 0, it is OK to set the mode selector switch SW7 to ON.

I/O operation of the remote I/O and I/O units on the master station: Continue
I/O operation of normal I/O units and normal advanced units on a slave station system: Continue
[Step to take]
Turn off the power supply to the CPU. Replace the faulty unit with a normal unit and power up again.
3) I/O operation : Continue [2] (automatic reset)
- System register No. 28: 1 (Continue operation)
- System register No. 27: 1 (Continue operation)
- Mode selector switch SW1/7: ON (Continue operation)
[Operation]
I/O operation of the remote I/O and I/O units on the master station: Continue
I/O operation of normal I/O units and normal advanced units on a slave station system: Continue
[Step to take]
Power up the slave station system which has had a unit replaced and it automatically resets.
However, since the "ERROR LED" on the CPU remains on, the initialize switch on the CPU must be set
to be on in the RUN mode.

Set the operation mode when an error occurs using the system registers and the mode selector switches
as below.
[Example]
When a communication error occurs, only the remote I/O control will stop.If a slave station is outputting
data when the error occurs, the status will be maintained.If an error occurs in a unit on the slave station
syste, the operation will be continued.

- System register No. 27: 1
- System register No. 28: 1
- Mode selector switch SW1/7 on Master unit: OFF
- Mode selector switch SW3 on Slave unit: ON
