In this example, the physical ports of the ASA 5505 are used as follows:
The Business VLAN consists of four physical switch ports: three Ethernet
switch ports for desktop computers, printers and other devices, and one
Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch port for an IP phone.
The Personal VLAN consists of three physical switch ports used to connect
desktop computers, printers, and other devices.
The Internet VLAN consists of one physical switch port supporting a single
ISP connection using an external WAN router or broadband modem.
The printer is shared by both the Personal VLAN and the Business VLAN.
