  • Page 9 Installing and setting up the app (see figures A1 – A2) Before you can use the GCY30-4, you need to install the Bosch Toolbox app. – Download the Bosch Toolbox app via the appropriate app store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store).

  • Page 12 D. Insert the GCY30-4 module 2 into the power tool. Make sure that the terminals inside the tool and the module align. E. Insert the battery 1 into the GCY30-4 module 2 with the plus terminal facing upwards. It is not necessary to push in the battery.
  • Page 13 Operating instructions Once the battery 1 has been inserted, the GCY30-4 will send out a continuous signal. The Bluetooth® signal will only be in- terrupted if the battery is drained, faulty, or removed.

    Battery Replacement Before the battery is completely used up, the app displays a warning. Chemical Burn Hazard. Keep bat- teries away from children. This product contains a lithium button/coin cell battery. If a new or used lithium button/coin cell battery is swallowed or en- ters the body, it can cause severe internal burns and can lead to death in as little as 2 hours.
