- To reduce the risk of damage to the GCC30-4 we highly recommend placing the
clip as close on the cord as possible to either the power plug or the power tool
(Fig. N). Insert the power cord into the GCA30-9 housing (Fig. O). Note that
the maximum thickness of the cord that fits in retaining clip is 3/8" (9.5mm).
- Snap the back of the retaining clip into the clip housing. Make sure both lock
tabs click in place (Fig. P).
To remove the retaining clip from the cord, use a flathead screwdriver to push the
lock tabs in and lift the back of the clip (with GCC30-4 attached). Make sure the
screwdriver tip is at least 9/32" (7mm) wide (Fig. Q).
