Opening the housing will impair the tightness of the case. This present risks to the user and will void any warranty. In case of a damage, please exchange the Bosch TRACI Tag. Do not try to repair the Bosch TRACI Tag. Environmental friendly disposal of the damaged device (see chapter 2.9 “Disposal and Recycling”) and compliance with the guideline for transport are required.
European directive 2012/19/EC and 2006/66/EC defective devices or batteries must be collected and recycled. Integrated batteries may only be removed for disposal by specialist staff. The tightness of the Bosch TRACI Tag will be destroyed by opening the housing.
3 System Description 3.1 System of Interest (SOI) The TRACI Tag is only available as part of the Bosch Asset Tracing Solution. The content of the Bosch Asset Tracing Solution is defined individually for each customer in the system description (attachment of customer contract).
With respect to the use and usage conditions described in this operating instructions, the life of the Bosch TRACI Tag is designed for a maximum of 15,000 GNSS fixes (clear sky, unobstructed line of sight to satelite, optimal temperature range) & 20,000 LoRa® messages or a maximum of 3 years (whichever occurs first).
4.8.2 Mounting To provide on-board sensor technology’s functionality throughout the entire service life, a permanent connection between the two housing bushings of the Bosch TRACI Tag and the tagged vehicle, machine or other asset is necessary. When mounting the Bosch TRACI Tag, please make sure that the side with the Bosch Logo is facing upwards.
