Wrap the cuff around the wrist
A. Wrap the cuff around the wrist.
1. The display of the measuring device must be placed on the
side of the palm of your hand.
2. The wrist must be free (from sleeve and the like).
B. Pull the cuff tight around your wrist.
1. Do not pull on the cuff with exaggerated force.
2. Do not pull the cuff too tight.
We recommend to take the measurement on your left wrist.
Correct body position for measuring
To receive best possible measuring results make sure that the cuff is held on
the same level as your heart. If the cuff is held in a position above or below
the heart this may lead to deviations from the exact value.
Measuring blood pressure in sitting position
1. Prop the elbow on a table top or another flat
surface (as e.g. the storage box).
2. Position your arm on the rest in a way that
makes sure that the cuff is on the same level
with your heart.
3. Relax your hand; the palm of your hand must
point upwards.
