Putting in the batteries
Remove the cover of the battery compartment on the lower side of the mea-
suring device and put the batteries into the battery compartment as shown.
Put in 2 batteries of type 1.5V, type AAA. Pay particular attention to the cor-
rect positions of the + and – poles of the batteries. Close the battery com-
partment.
A battery symbol on the display indicates that the batteries should be repla-
ced. Always replace the whole battery set, never replace only one battery.
Attention: Batteries do not belong in your usual household rubbish. Please
dispose of old batteries at proper collecting points or at the competent dea-
ler. Never throw batteries into a fire.
