This product follows under the UL1481 Fire Alarm Systems, UL603 Burglary Alarm Systems, and UL294 Access
Control Systems. The HPMOM6CB unit is to be installed in a fail safe mode unless authorized by the local AHJ.
1 Overview
The HPMOM6CB uses PTC circuit breakers. The Controller will deliver power to six (6) fused outputs for switching on
or off security devices such as Magnetic Locks, Door Strikes, Magnetic Fire Door Holders, Elevator Cabs, etc., The
Controller has a choice of two (2) outputs, "Fail Safe" and/or "Fail Secure" and a choice of two (2) inputs, "N/O" or "N/
C" and Reverse Polarity triggered by the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). The Controller also has 2 (two) Trouble/
Alarm dry contact Form "C": outputs for Power Fail/Fuse Blown and FACP alarm condition. The HPMOM6CB has not
been evaluated as elevator equipment.
2 Specifications
Power Supply input option
– Power supply input 12 VDC or 24 VDC.
Outputs
– Six (6) Fail Safe, and/or Fail Secure,
– Fuse rated @ 2.5 A per output.
– Maximum fused rated output is 2.0 A.
– All the output fuses with automatic yellow LED status indication.
– Test push button and yellow LED indication for Fuse status .
– Red LED indication for energized relay output.
Fire Alarm Control Panel input
– Polarity reversing input.
– Normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) supervised input with 2K2 Ohm (EOL) resistor (provided).
– Engineering Reset (Optional) normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) input with 2.2 K Ohm (EOL) resistor.
Alarm Outputs: Fail Safe
– FACP dry contacts triggered.
– Green LED indication when FACP is triggered.
– Dry contacts output for Control Power Failure.
Board dimensions: 5.3" L x 3.5" W x 1.0" H (13.46 cm L x 8.89 cm W x 2.54 cm H).
3 Installation Instructions
1.
Mounting
The power supply should be installed in accordance with all Governing Electrical National and Local Codes. Mount
the power supply securely in desired location using the four(4) mounting holes.
2.
Power Supply Input Connection
Before connecting power, review the wiring diagram for correct installation. (See figure below.)
With the AC power disconnected, connect the 120 VAC wires to the fuse block respecting the wiring code and
method as follows: L=Black (HOT), N=White (Neutral), G=Green (Ground)
