3.4.4
Motor current is large
Causes under V/F control
Cause
Torque boost (Pr. 0, etc.) setting is too large. Decrease torque boost (Pr. 0, etc.) setting.
V/F control related parameter setting is not
an appropriate value.
Load is heavy.
The acceleration/deceleration time (Pr. 7,
Pr. 8, etc.) setting is too small.
Load inertia (GD2) is too large.
Causes other than V/F control
Cause
Motor specifications setting is not
appropriate.
Offline auto tuning is not performed.
Load is heavy.
The acceleration/deceleration time (Pr. 7,
Pr. 8, etc.) setting is too small.
Load inertia (GD2) is too large.
Measures
Adjust torque boost (Pr. 0, etc.), base frequency (Pr. 3, etc.), base
frequency voltage (Pr. 19), load pattern selection (Pr. 14).
Check the load.
Set a larger value in acceleration/deceleration time (Pr. 7, Pr. 8, etc.).
(1) Decrease inertia (GD2)
(2) Set a larger value in acceleration/deceleration time (Pr. 7, Pr. 8, etc.).
Measures
Check that the motor specifications setting is correct.
Perform Offline auto tuning.
Check the load.
Set a larger value in acceleration/deceleration time (Pr. 7, Pr. 8, etc.).
(1) Decrease inertia (GD2)
(2) Set a larger value in acceleration/deceleration time (Pr. 7, Pr. 8, etc.).
