Adding the Media Player to the Viiv Network

The media player must be added to the Viiv network.
1. Turn on the digital entertainer and the television.
2. Aim the remote control at the media player.
The television screen shows a message asking if you want to use Viiv network
setup.
3. Use the remote control to select yes.
4. Go to the Viiv computer, select add a device, and then click start.
The screen asks how the device is added to the network.
5. Select connecting it to the router with an Ethernet network cable and then
click next.
The software goes through a five-step process, and then shows a new device
found message.
6. Click next, and when prompted to select a device type, choose media player.
7. Follow the wizard steps until you get to the device added to network screen.
Click Finish.
The Viiv computer displays the update screen so that you can set up your
media library.
