Basic Setup

Follow these steps for basic setup.
1. After the audio welcome message, choose Basic setup.
You can use TV Mode to try out different TV resolution settings.
2. Depending on where you bought your Digital Entertainer HD, you may be
prompted to enter your zip code.
If you want to receive news and weather, or to schedule TV recordings with
the electronic program guide, enter your zip code. Press the down arrow when
you are finished, and then press OK.
3. When prompted to install software, go to the computer where you will install
the software.

Custom Setup

Use Custom Setup if you want to manually enter one or more of these items: room
name, scan for media, select media servers, or TV provider.
Follow these steps for custom setup.
1. After you hear the audio welcome message, choose Custom Setup.
You can use TV Mode to try out different TV resolution settings.
2. You can change the room name. Select from the list, or create a new one.
3. Depending on where you bought your Digital Entertainer HD, you may be
prompted to enter your zip code.
If you want to receive news and weather, or to schedule TV recordings with
the electronic program guide, enter your zip code. Press the down arrow when
you are finished, and then press OK.
4. When prompted to install software, go to the computer where you will install
the software.
