    Filtering by Port Number Using the Address Filter system administrators can grant or deny access to the imagePRESS C800/C700 Series for specific groups or users via Port numbers (MAC Addresses). Port Number filtering permits or rejects incoming packets from IP addresses or ranges of IP addresses.

  • Page 31 HDD Password Lock Function The HDD password lock feature further heightens the confidentiality of highly sensitive information stored on the hard disk. The password is managed by the imagePRESS C800/C700 Main Unit. When the device is turned ON, the password is unlocked. IMPORTANT HDD Lock function prevents the access to the user data but the data itself still exist on the HDD.
