The PTM base unit comes factory assembled and contains the following components (see

Installing a Single PTM Base Unit (5U Models)

To install a single PTM base unit:
1. Install two 5U libraries, as shown in
MSL6000 Series Tape Library User Guide.
NOTE: Each library needs to be pulled out sequentially from the front of the rack enclosure to gain
access to the top PTM cover plate screw on a lower library. See
16 Installing the PTM
