• Scan tool validates PIDs from vehicle.

setup Custom List or View Entire List and Pre-Trig-
ger Setup to set the number of frames to keep prior
to triggering the recording.

6. After recording, scan tool displays a prompt to
Playback Data.
• Select NO to return to Heavy Duty Standard
menu.
• Select YES to display recorded data.
• Refer to"Recording" on page 17 for instruc-
tions on how to play back data.

The Module Information function allows the scan tool to
request information from modules on the vehicle. Infor-
mation collected includes Make, Module, Serial Number,
Power Unit, ECU Part Number, ECU Serial Number, ECU
Location, ECU Type, ECU Manufacturer Name, ECU
Hardware ID, Software Identifier, CVN ID, Calibration ID,
Vehicle Distance, Trip Distance, Total Vehicle Hours, &
. VIN. A typical module may support some but not all of
this information.
The scan tool cannot verify if data is correct for scanned
modules.
