2. Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
3. Install the server in the rack.
4. Power on the server and any peripheral devices.

Remove the front operator panel

Use this procedure to remove the front operator panel.
With the operator panel tray assembly removed from the system (see "Remove the operator panel tray
assembly" on page 82) , complete the following steps to remove the front operator panel:
Step 1.
Press on the two release tabs on the rear of the front operator panel, and carefully slide the
assembly out of from the tray assembly.

If you are instructed to return the component or optional device, follow all packaging instructions, and use
any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.

Install the front operator panel

Use this procedure to install the front operator panel.
Before installing the front operator panel:
1. Read the safety information and installation guidelines (see "Safety" on page iii and "Installation
Guidelines" on page 51).
2. Touch the static-protective package that contains the component to any unpainted metal surface on the
server; then, remove it from the package and place it on a static-protective surface.
To install the front operator panel, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Align the panel with the slot on operator panel tray assembly, and slide it in until it clicks into place.
