Dismantling/assembling
Dismantling the air valve
The air valve is secured on the carburet-
tor by two screws.
The air valve does not need to be dis-
mantled to check the function of the
carburettor or for most service work.
However, dismantling the air valve facili-
tates accessibility.
Link rod
Note the attachment of the link rod
when reassembling.
Turn the gasket correctly!
Make sure that the gasket faces the right
way so the channel at the arrow is not
covered.
The channel connects the filter chamber
with the carburettor's measuring chamber
on the dry side, to the cover. (SmartCarb
filter compensation.)
