When the specific data stored on EZJ93 board are different from the data stored
on the EZJ124 board, following message screen "Board Replacement Procedure"
is displayed.
Select "EZJ93" on the message. (When the specific data stored on EZJ93 board
and on EZJ124 board are same, this message is not displayed.)
(7) After pressing the replaced board button, following confirmation message will be
displayed. Check the message and press the button. After pressing the "Board
Replacement Confirmation" button, the indicator bar progresses again.
The initialization of the board ends with step (6) and (7).
(8) When the initialization of the board ends, the print description screen is
displayed.
(9) Press the ejector (button) and take the system data memory card out of the slot.
(10) Execute "System reset" on the second page of the service maintenance screen.
(11) Input the serial number in the "Unit information" screen.
(12) Recover the data from the back up memory card by using the copy data function.

(13) As the operation management, the parts usage time management, password
setup and the unit information are not backed up by the copy data function.
Set them again.
As for the copy data function, the user mode and the service personnel
maintenance mode are different. When replacing the EZJ93, it is necessary to
back up the unit-specific data, and so put it into the service personnel
maintenance mode and then perform the backup.
-User mode: User data (printing data (Note 1), substitution rules, user patterns)
-Service personnel maintenance mode:
User data (same as above) and unit-specific data (Note 2).
