PRE-OPERATION CHECKS

STEERING SYSTEM

Check the steering system for
excessive free play by:

If you feel excessive free play, or

hear rattling sounds which may
indicate loose steering components,
consult a Yamaha dealer.
BACK-UP BUZZER
Check the back-up buzzer by
moving the drive select lever to "R"
for reverse. The buzzer should
sound.
PEDAL OPERATION

Check the following pedal controls
for proper operation. If a pedal does
not work properly, consult a Yamaha
dealer.
Accelerator Pedal
Before checking operation of the
accelerator pedal, be sure the
main switch is in the "OFF"
position. Death or serious person-
al injury can result from failing to
comply with warning instructions
in this manual.

Make sure the accelerator pedal
operates smoothly.
