The knobs that turn the surface

the lowercontrol panel in front of
the burners.
The two knobs on the left control

Push the control knob in and turn it
to LITE. On electricignitionmodels,
youwill hear a littleclickingnoise—
the soundof the electricspark
ignitingthe burner.
Afier the burner ignites,turn the
knobto adjustthe flame size.
Note:
~ Do not operatea burner for
extendedperiods of time without
havingcookwareon the grate. The
finishon the grate may chip without
cookwareto absorb the heat.
~ Check to be sure the burner you
turned on is the one you wantto use.
@ Be sure the burners and grates are
cool before you place your hand, a
pot holder, cleaning cloths or other
materials on them.

The flame size on a gas burner
shouldmatch the cookwareyou
are using.

OF THE COOKWARE.Any flame
larger than the bottomof the
cookware is wastedand only
servesto heat the handles.
