2. Lift the ovenbottomup and out.
To repIace:
L Slip the ovenbottom into the
ovenso the tabs in the rear of the
ovenbottomfit intothe slots in the
ovenback.

bottominto place and slide the
fronttab to the right to lock the
ovenbottominto place.
The oven bottom has a porcelain
namel finish. Tomake cleaning
protect the ovenbottom
om excessivespillovers.This is
reticularly important when baking
a fruit pie or other foods with high
acid content. Hot fruit fillingsor
foodsthat are high in acid content,
such as milk, tomato or sauerkraut,

Door
The ovendoor is removableto
makethe interior more accessible
duringreplacementof the lampbulb.
Hinge

To remove the door, open it a few
inches to the special stop position
that will hold the door open. Grasp
firmly on each side and lift the door
straightup and off the hinges.
Note: Be careful not to place hands
between the spring hinge and the
ovendoor frame as the hingecould
snap back and pinch your fingers.
To repIacethe door, make sure the
hingesare in the "out" position.
Positionthe slots in the bottomof
the door squareIy over the hinges.
Then lower the door slowly and
evenlyover both hinges at the same
time. If hinges snap back against
the oven frame, pull them back out.

Ovenshelvesmaybe cleanedwith
a mildabrasivecleanserfollowing
manufacturer'sdirect~ons. A fter
cleaning,rinse theshelveswith
cleanwaterand dry witha ch$an
cloth.
Toremoveheavy,burned-onsoil,
soapymetalpadsmaybe used
following manufacturer's directions.
Afterscrubbing,washwithsoapy
water,rinse anddry.
h-oiler Pan&Rack
After broiling, removethe broiler
rack and carefully pour off the
grease. Washand rinse the pan and
rack in hot, soapy water.
If food has burned on, sprinkle
the rack while hot with detergent
and cover with wet paper towelsor
a dishcloth. That way,burned-on
foodswill soak loose while the
meal is being served.
Do not store a soiled broiler pan
and rack in the oven. Do not clean
in self-cleaningoven.
