Connecting the Network Cable

Four pair of Cat.5 UTP or STP cable with RJ-45 connector is
required for the 32-bit PCI 10/100/1000Mbps NWay Gigabit
Ethernet Card. You can use standard or crossover cable to connect
the switch MDI-X or MDI-II port, because the 32-bit PCI
10/100/1000Mbps NWay Gigabit Ethernet Card will adjust the
correct signal automatically.

Software Installation

For installation with Operating systems Window 98SE,
98 ME and Win2000
Install the DGE-500T to a open PCI slot.
Turn on the computer.
Windows will automatically detect new hardware, which
will prompt for the driver location.
Select floppy drive for the driver location.
Select finish to complete driver installation.
Check device manager for proper loading of adapter.
Right click network properties to check configuration.
Reboot.
