Restarting the camera

10.8.1 Manual restart

Certain settings changes (e.g. network settings) will only take effect after restarting
the device.
Open the unit's home page. See Section 7.4 Accessing the unit's home page.

Select Restart in the Configuration menu.

The Restart dialog will appear:

There are three ways of performing a restart:
Manual restart
Time-controlled restart
Restart by Ping Watchdog
Click on the Restart now button.

The device will restart immediately.
The device requires about 30 to 40 seconds for the restart. No communication
can take place with the device during this period.
